While she likes to refer to herself as "Made in Taiwan", Della Chuang's design
education began at Pratt Institute in New York City, where she studied Visual Communication
and received a Master of Science degree in 1996. After further graphic design training at Pentagram,
Della joined Ralph Lauren Fragrances in 1999 and started to consolidate her
design passion in the field of perfume bottles and packaging, environmental
graphics, and promotional collateral.
Her representative works include Ralph, Polo Blue, and Pure Turquoise at Ralph
Lauren Fragrances, and Whie Patchouli at Tom Ford Beauty.
As a visual nerd, Della is drawn to art and design history, Black & White photography,
literature, music, film, street graffiti, Japanese manga, and neon signs.
Apart from researching her ongoing writing projects, Della currently works as a
freelance design consultant and splits her time between NYC and Europe.
