Every city has its own character, and is unique not just because of its buildings or its topography, but also because of its colors, lights, images, dwellers, and even its smell.

KyotEau: Bottled Memories describes my insights and experiences in Kyoto, and maps an epiphany as a journey between design and scent. KyotEau fragrance, the result of an intense collaboration with the perfumer Christophe Laudamiel, is a scent based on my sensory adventures in Kyoto. This book includes a perfume vial sample for the reader to experience the vivid portrait of Kyoto.
