I am a Taiwanese-American designer, artist, lecturer and writer, splitting time between China and Europe. A former art director at Ralph Lauren Fragrances and freelance design consultant at Tom Ford Beauty in New York, I maintain a professional studio in Lausanne Switzerland, creating a body of work that emphasizes scent's relevance to culture and aesthetics. I also advise clients in the luxury industry in their design concepting and strategy for Asian markets and create a series of scent education programs to Chinese consumers.
I received my Master of Science in Visual Communication from Pratt Institute in New York City. In March 2011, I was appointed an honorary fellow of "The 100 Designers" at the 2011 IDA Congress, in recognition of my talent for fragrance packaging design. My work at Ralph Lauren Fragrances and Tom Ford Beauty was rewarded with several FIFI Awards. In 2019, I was honored to received the Bvlgari Avrora Awards for my work on scent design and culture.
